Overview As an NEC Project Manager at WSP, you will lead delivery of highways and infrastructure schemes in the South West, guiding projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities - Lead NEC contract administration and project management aligned with NEC4 requirements
- Act as Project Manager under NEC contracts, issue instructions, manage early warnings, and maintain records
- Build strong client and contractor relationships to enable effective delivery
- Manage resources, including remote teams, to accommodate fluctuating workloads
- Collaborate with clients and design teams to deliver compliant designs on time, within budget, and with safety, QA and technical standards in mind
- Produce project control reports and maintain robust programme management
- Agree commercial position, including forecasting and cost control
- Oversee invoicing in accordance with the contract
Key requirements - Proven experience in the Highways/Infrastructure sector with NEC contract management background
- Experience managing NEC contract processes, including early warnings, compensation events, and programme updates
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of CDM 2015 and related duties
- Financial and commercial awareness with experience in project and resource management
- NEC4 accreditation or qualification desirable
