Overview In this role you will drive strategic project delivery for high-value litigation matters within the LDR division, blending project management leadership with deep eDiscovery expertise. You will partner with legal teams and clients to define scope, manage budgets, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. You will lead eDiscovery strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, and contribute to firm-wide innovation in legal service delivery. Responsibilities - Own planning, execution, and closure of selected matters ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with clear communication channels and client alignment
- Maintain workstream trackers, chair stand-ups, and circulate updated action lists; flag issues as needed
- Develop and monitor matter budgets, cost estimates, and resource plans; provide regular fee reporting
- Collaborate with Finance and Pricing to create pricing proposals and consider alternative fee arrangements
- Provide expert eDiscovery guidance across matters and advise on optimal workflows and tooling
- Coordinate with Legal Technology to integrate tools into matter workflows
- Manage client relationships with transparent communication and regular progress updates
- Contribute to Russell Up innovation program; mentor trainees and share project management expertise
- Contribute to development of PM best practices and firm-wide continuous improvement
- Develop the capabilities of the LPM team through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
- Promote the CRS LPM brand and raise the profile of legal project management across the firm
Key requirements - Proven legal project management experience in a law firm, with a focus on litigation and disputes
- Strong knowledge of eDiscovery principles and hands-on experience advising on eDiscovery strategies
- Practical familiarity with Relativity or similar eDiscovery platforms
- LPM-specific qualification or recognised Project/Change Management Qualification
- Strong communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders across international organisations
- Ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
