Overview In this role you will lead a varied portfolio of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring time, cost, quality and safety targets are met. You’ll manage project charters, scope, programmes and budgets, and act as the main client contact within a delivery-focused team. The role emphasises compliant, efficient delivery under NEC3 contracts, with a focus on stakeholder management and continuous improvement. Responsibilities - Lead projects from initiation to completion while meeting time, cost, quality and safety goals
- Define and manage project scope, performance measures and success criteria
- Develop and monitor programmes, budgets, cost forecasts and reports
- Plan activities (quality, risk, time) using tools like MS Project
- Communicate with clients, delivery partners and internal teams to resource and meet commitments
- Manage milestones and payment criteria with appropriate documentation
- Drive continuous improvement by removing non-value-adding activities
- Ensure compliance with Business Assurance standards, reporting and record-keeping
- Attend customer sites and represent company values
Key requirements - 2+ years in Project Management or Project Engineering
- Engineering background with electrical and/or mechanical knowledge
- Commercial awareness in project delivery
- Experience with NEC3 contracts (or similar)
- Knowledge of UK municipal water sector desirable
- Project management training or qualifications (PRINCE2, APM) advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
