Overview In this role you will lead or support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects within the PMCM team, coordinating multi-disciplinary stakeholders and managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and contract performance. You will work with clients and technical partners to drive major investment programmes that improve water quality, resilience, and environmental outcomes. Responsibilities - Lead or support delivery across the project lifecycle for water and wastewater projects
- Manage scope, programme, budget, risk, change, and stakeholder requirements
- Administer and manage NEC4 ECC contracts and ensure contract performance
- Collaborate with client teams, technical specialists, contractors and stakeholders to drive project success
- Support development and delivery of major investment programmes in the regulated water sector
- Champion best practice in project management, safety, quality, sustainability and continuous improvement
- Mentor and support junior team members and foster a high-performing, collaborative culture
Key requirements - Experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects, for water companies or major utility/environmental programmes
- Full Member of APM/PRINCE2/PMP or equivalent, MAPM qualification or equivalent
- ChPP status or working towards, with APM
- Experience across water sector projects including treatment and network infrastructure
- Understanding of asset investment, sustainability, resilience, and regulatory drivers in the UK water sector
- Proven track record managing projects through full lifecycle (scope, programme, budget, risk, quality)
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
- Commercial awareness including NEC4 ECC contract management experience
- Ability to lead, coordinate and motivate multidisciplinary teams; promote collaboration
- Membership or progression towards professional institutions (APM, ICE, CIWEM, CIOB, RICS)
