About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of specialist drylining, partition and ceiling packages on a high-profile construction project.

You’ll Be Responsible For
- The successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Leading and managing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors, promoting clear communication, accountability and high performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Developing and managing project programmes, progress reporting, logistics, procurement and material schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to maintain programme.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders, acting as Middlesex's primary point of contact and chairing project meetings where required.
- Working closely with the commercial team to manage project costs, variations, applications for payment, cost forecasting and contractual compliance.
- Overseeing the coordination of construction information, RFIs, project documentation, RAMS, O&M manuals and handover documentation to support efficient project delivery.
- Driving high standards of health, safety and quality, leading inspections, audits and compliance with company procedures, legislation and client requirements.
- Supporting continuous improvement across the business by mentoring junior team members, sharing lessons learned and collaborating with the estimating, design, commercial and quality teams.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within drylining, partitions, ceilings, fit-out or specialist subcontracting.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project planning and site operations.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, variations and programme delivery.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and quality management processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised, proactive and solutions focused.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Qualifications
- Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent industry experience).
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Black Card (or appropriate management card).
- First Aid at Work (desirable).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
