About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead significant building projects in the Coventry area. This role involves overseeing all phases of construction, from initial planning and design through to completion and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a key position requiring excellent stakeholder management, financial acumen, and a strategic approach to project execution, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence in the construction sector .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring effective collaboration.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee budget management, cost control, and financial reporting for all assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Manage client relationships, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry , managing projects of varying scale and complexity.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building materials, and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated success in budget management and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
