About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Project Manager to lead a flagship new build residential development in Manchester . This role is critical to the successful delivery of a large-scale housing project, from initial planning through to final handover. You will be responsible for the overall project lifecycle, including budget management, programming, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the construction project lifecycle, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of residential units.
- Develop, monitor, and update the project program, identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the project delivery team, including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Oversee procurement processes, contract administration, and financial control for the project.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager on large-scale residential construction projects.
- Strong understanding of building regulations, planning permissions, and construction processes specific to residential developments.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and financial control systems.
- A relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
