About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from planning and requirements gathering to coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and milestone tracking.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional software development teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and resource utilisation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively communicating status and solutions to stakeholders.
- Oversee the quality assurance and testing processes to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in project management, with a significant focus on software development projects.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with SDLC management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
- Familiarity with software development tools and technologies.
- Experience with stakeholder management and reporting to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, collaborating effectively both in-office and remotely.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
