About the Role
Our client, WhatJobs Direct, is seeking a skilled and proactive HR Project Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives within their HR function, operating in a fully remote capacity. You will manage various HR technology projects from conception to completion, ensuring successful implementation and adoption. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of HR digital transformation projects.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of HR technology solutions (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems, talent management platforms).
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for HR technology providers.
- Develop and execute change management and communication plans to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all HR projects adhere to relevant data privacy regulations and security standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong emphasis on HR technology and digital transformation projects.
- Demonstrable success in managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS, Payroll).
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
- Experience with change management and user adoption strategies.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, MS Project).
- Prince2 or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Must be comfortable working remotely from anywhere in the UK.
