Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage supply chain optimization projects from initiation to closure.
- Analyze current supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop project plans, define scope, set objectives, and manage timelines and budgets.
- Implement new technologies and systems to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, procurement, operations) and external partners.
- Manage project risks, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
- Measure and report on project performance, ensuring key metrics are met.
- Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new supply chain strategies.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to support decision-making and track project outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
- Demonstrable experience in supply chain analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and transportation logistics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- APICS or equivalent supply chain certification is a plus.
- Experience working in a hybrid model, with regular attendance at the Portsmouth office.
