About the Role
Our client, a leading consultancy firm specializing in aviation infrastructure and technology, is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Aviation Project Manager to lead complex projects for their diverse clientele. Based in Bristol, South West England, UK , this role demands exceptional organizational skills, a deep understanding of the aviation industry, and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects from conception through to completion. You will be responsible for defining project scope, developing detailed plans, managing budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of aviation-focused projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and strategic goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets effectively to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee procurement processes and manage vendor relationships.

- Ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations, industry standards, and quality control processes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on the aviation industry (e.g., airport development, aircraft manufacturing, avionics integration).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects with significant budgets.
- Strong understanding of aviation operations, regulations, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
