About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Aviation Project Manager to lead critical projects within their rapidly expanding aviation services division based in Bristol . This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of complex aviation-related projects, from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage project scope, resources, risks, and stakeholders, fostering collaboration among engineering, operations, and client teams. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of multiple aviation projects, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement timely mitigation strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and performance.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant aviation regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Aviation Management, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proven track record (5+ years) of successful project management within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in managing budgets, resources, and complex project schedules.
