Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Manage project execution, monitoring progress, and identifying/mitigating risks.
- Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical development processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and proposals.
- Manage project budgets and track financial performance.
- Oversee vendor selection and management where applicable.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and processes.
- Ensure successful handover of project deliverables to relevant departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology) or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
- In-depth understanding of drug development processes (pre-clinical to post-marketing).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory affairs and compliance in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively.
