Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of software development projects, from initiation to closure.
- Plan, execute, and monitor projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Liaise with clients to gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide project updates.
- Coordinate with development teams, QA testers, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and resource allocation.
- Contribute to process improvements within the development and project management teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical project management, specifically within software development.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage software projects from conception to delivery.
- Strong technical background, with knowledge of programming languages and database concepts.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment in Southampton .
