About the Role
Our client, a leader in environmental sustainability solutions, is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join their entirely remote team. This role will focus on driving and managing projects related to sustainable development and green initiatives, impacting operations across our network, including those associated with our **Norwich, Norfolk, UK** presence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of sustainability-focused projects, from concept to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Coordinate and manage project teams comprised of internal experts and external partners in a remote setting.
- Ensure projects align with environmental goals, regulatory requirements, and company strategy.
- Monitor project progress, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on outcomes.
- Proactively identify and address project challenges and risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among remote team members and stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a clear focus on sustainability, environmental, or corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and green technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
- Proficiency with remote project management and collaboration software (e.g., Asana, Miro, Slack, Microsoft Teams).
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
