About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Remote Aviation Project Manager to oversee key initiatives within their growing organization. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Manage project execution, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and direct the work of project team members, including technical staff and external vendors.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the aviation industry or a related technical field.
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Asana, or Jira.
