About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Aviation Project Manager to oversee critical projects within their expanding portfolio in Leeds . This role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of aviation-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project resources, driving projects from initiation through to closure. This is a key position for an individual passionate about aviation and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Lead and motivate project teams , fostering collaboration and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Track project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant aviation regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a strong track record in the aviation sector.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of aviation operations , aircraft maintenance, or infrastructure development.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business, or Aviation Management.
