About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Aviation Project Manager to oversee and drive key projects within their operations based in Leeds . This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex aviation-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and mitigating risks associated with aviation infrastructure, technology, or operational enhancement projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of aviation projects, defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all projects comply with aviation safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Communicate project status, progress, and key decisions effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on the aviation industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with aviation operations, regulations, and industry standards.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
