About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Aviation Project Manager to lead critical fleet modernization initiatives from a remote-first position. This role is central to overseeing the successful integration of new aircraft technologies, avionics upgrades, and cabin refurbishments across their fleet. You will manage all phases of complex projects, from planning and resource allocation to execution and final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end aviation projects related to fleet modernization, including aircraft modifications and technology integration.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, engineering teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and services, and manage vendor relationships.
- Ensure all project activities comply with aviation regulations and company standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, avionics, and maintenance processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote environment.
