About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Aviation Project Manager to lead key initiatives within their organization, based in Leeds . This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, specifically within the complex aviation sector. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of diverse aviation projects, from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful collaboration.
- Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to ensure financial targets are met.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion in the aviation industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
- Based in or willing to commute to the Leeds area for hybrid working requirements.
