About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager with expertise in IT Infrastructure to join their team in Nottingham . This role is essential for overseeing projects related to network upgrades, system implementations, and data center management. You will be responsible for ensuring that infrastructure projects are delivered efficiently, securely, and in alignment with the company's technological roadmap. The hybrid working model offers a balance of focused remote work and essential on-site collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, from planning and design through to deployment and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in conjunction with IT leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for infrastructure initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT infrastructure projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Coordinate activities with internal IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers.
- Ensure all infrastructure projects comply with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , specifically managing IT infrastructure projects.
- Solid understanding of networking, server technologies, cloud computing, and data center operations.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
