About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects within their organization based in Leicester . This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. You will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and fostering a collaborative project environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
- Manage and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and motivation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders and provide detailed reports on performance and milestones.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices throughout all project phases.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager , with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, risks, and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- A relevant degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
