About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Telecommunications Project Manager to lead key initiatives from their Glasgow office. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex telecoms projects , from network upgrades to new service deployments. You will manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and client expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of telecoms projects , including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external contractors.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Communicate project status, progress, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex projects within the telecommunications sector .
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of network technologies, infrastructure deployment, and telecoms operations .
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
