About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead their critical software development projects in Derby . This role is essential for driving the successful delivery of innovative software solutions, from initial concept to final deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs. You will manage cross-functional teams, facilitate agile processes, and maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to navigate complex software development lifecycles within the Derbyshire tech community.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software development projects.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation using Agile methodologies.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders.
Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring quality and timely delivery of releases.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies proactively.
Provide regular and transparent project status reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management , with a strong emphasis on software development .
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and their practical application.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with software development tools and methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is highly desirable.
