About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Remote Construction Project Manager to lead key construction projects from conception through to completion. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to manage projects and teams from anywhere while driving significant construction initiatives. You will be responsible for overall project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and budget. This is a leadership role for an experienced professional who thrives on complex challenges and can effectively guide multidisciplinary teams in a virtual environment to achieve outstanding project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of construction projects, from initial planning and feasibility studies to final handover.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution, including procurement, contract administration, risk management, and quality control.
- Effectively manage project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, through clear and consistent communication.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout all project phases.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
- Monitor project performance, track progress against milestones, and report regularly to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Significant proven experience as a Construction Project Manager , successfully delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrable expertise in project management methodologies, construction processes , and contract administration (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, and value engineering.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, adept at managing remote teams.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., PMP, MCIOB, RICS) or a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with project management software and collaborative digital tools is essential.
