About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly capable Construction Project Manager to lead diverse projects from inception to completion in the Nottingham area. You will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and within client expectations. This role requires a strategic leader with strong commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will work collaboratively with design teams, contractors, and clients, driving projects forward and ensuring successful outcomes for a variety of construction ventures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to handover.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Implement robust risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project issues.
- Ensure accurate project reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, managing complex projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and project management principles.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and financial control tools.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
