About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled MEP Project Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of high-end residential and commercial construction projects in Derby . This role is critical for ensuring the successful integration and functionality of building services, managing specialist subcontractors, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. You will be the main point of contact for MEP-related matters on site, ensuring quality installations and compliance with all relevant standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works across project sites, ensuring seamless integration.
- Oversee and manage specialist MEP subcontractors, including tendering, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
- Develop and maintain MEP project schedules, ensuring timely progress and coordination with other trades.
- Control MEP project budgets, including managing variations, valuing work, and processing payments.
- Ensure all MEP installations comply with relevant building regulations, codes, and client specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks for all MEP works.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or similar role within construction.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and installations.
- Experience in managing subcontractors and controlling budgets for MEP packages.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and project management software.
