About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager with a strong background in IT infrastructure to join their team remotely, serving their operations in Belfast . This role involves leading and managing complex IT infrastructure projects, from network upgrades to cloud migrations, ensuring they are delivered successfully against strategic business objectives. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT project manager to leverage their skills in a fully remote capacity, driving critical technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for IT infrastructure initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to them throughout the project.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key information effectively to all stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of successful delivery.
- Strong understanding of network technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity principles, and data centre operations.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are a plus.
