About the Role
Our client requires a proactive and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead IT and systems implementation projects in Belfast . You will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, and budgets, while fostering strong collaboration between IT teams and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT and systems projects, from initiation through to successful deployment and support.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and technical standards.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience managing complex IT projects , including software implementations and system upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and schedules effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a knack for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation in an IT context.
