About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly capable Project Manager with expertise in the construction sector to lead key projects from their operational base in Southampton . While the role is primarily field-based, we offer a flexible, predominantly remote working arrangement for planning and administrative tasks, allowing for excellent work-life integration. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects , from initial planning and design through to completion and handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risks effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with construction project management software and tools.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is preferred.
