About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and organised Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a variety of infrastructure and service deployment projects from their base in Southampton . This role requires a leader capable of managing complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes in the fast-paced telecommunications industry . Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close telecommunications projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and report progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant focus on telecommunications projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2).
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
