About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and driven Telecoms Project Manager to lead key projects within their rapidly growing infrastructure division in Portsmouth . You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunications projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of project management principles within the telecoms sector .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for telecoms projects from initiation to closure.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders regularly.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager , with specific experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
