About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Telecoms Project Manager to oversee key initiatives within their growing telecommunications division in Southampton . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within the telecoms sector . You will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholder expectations, and project risks to ensure successful outcomes, with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against these objectives.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and vendors, ensuring efficient allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Communicate project status, updates, and critical issues effectively to all stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing telecoms projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
