About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and adaptable IT Project Manager to join their innovative technology department, working remotely with occasional visits to Belfast . This role is essential for driving the successful delivery of IT projects, including software development, system implementations, and infrastructure upgrades. You will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring seamless integration with existing IT systems and alignment with the company's strategic technology roadmap. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against these metrics.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the successful deployment and adoption of IT solutions across the organisation.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Project Manager , successfully delivering complex technology projects.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and network technologies.
- Proficiency in Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with IT project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
