About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Automotive Project Manager to oversee key development projects in Norwich . This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and communicate project progress to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive product development processes and excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project teams, providing direction, motivation, and performance feedback.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, issues, and successes clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and company procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP certification is a strong asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the automotive industry .
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex automotive development projects.
- Strong understanding of automotive product development cycles and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
