About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager specializing in renewable energy projects to join their expanding team in Norwich . This role is key to overseeing the successful execution of large-scale renewable energy developments, from inception through to commissioning. You will manage all project phases, including planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects (e.g., solar, wind, biomass).
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Liaise effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage project teams, providing leadership and fostering a positive and productive working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on renewable energy projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex energy infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, suited for a hybrid role.
- Experience working within the Norwich region or with local regulatory bodies is advantageous.
