About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the offshore wind sector to lead significant projects from their base in Norwich . This high-profile role requires strategic planning, execution, and delivery of complex offshore wind farm developments, from initial concept through to operational handover. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and schedules, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting all quality and environmental standards. This is a key leadership position within a rapidly expanding renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of offshore wind farm project development and execution, including site assessment, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate diverse project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including suppliers, contractors, regulatory bodies, and community representatives.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout all project activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years specifically in the offshore wind industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale offshore energy projects.
- Strong understanding of offshore wind technology, supply chains, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification is highly desirable.
