About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented Senior Project Manager to lead the development and enhancement of their e-commerce platforms in Nottingham . This critical role involves managing projects aimed at improving online customer experience, optimising conversion rates, and integrating new functionalities and technologies into the e-commerce ecosystem. You will work closely with marketing, IT, design, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and drive online business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, and a proven ability to manage complex web-based projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for e-commerce platform development and improvement initiatives.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and content creators, to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure the successful integration of new features, third-party applications, and payment gateways.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and oversee the deployment of updates and new functionalities to the live platform.
- Monitor website performance, analyse user behaviour data, and identify opportunities for further optimisation and growth.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on e-commerce platforms or digital product development.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex online retail projects.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and digital marketing strategies.
- Experience with agile project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
