About the Role
Our client is looking for an organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee retail operations projects for their outlets in and around Norwich, Norfolk, UK . You will be responsible for managing projects related to store openings, refurbishments, process improvements, and technology implementations within the retail environment. This role requires strong operational understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with store teams, suppliers, and internal departments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the retail customer experience through efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and execution of retail operations projects , including store fit-outs, technology rollouts, and process enhancements.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with store managers, vendors, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure projects align with brand standards and operational efficiency goals.
- Facilitate effective communication and reporting on project status to relevant parties.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a focus on retail operations or multi-site management.
- Strong understanding of retail environments, operations, and customer experience principles.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Experience with POS systems or retail technology implementations is a plus.
