About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Remote IT Project Manager with a specialization in cybersecurity to join their globally distributed team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to critical security infrastructure projects from any location. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing cybersecurity projects, ensuring the robust protection of our client's digital assets. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of cybersecurity projects, including risk assessments, security implementations, and incident response planning.
- Collaborate with IT security analysts, engineers, and external vendors to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation for remote teams.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or deviations, and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Ensure all cybersecurity projects adhere to relevant compliance regulations and industry best practices.
- Communicate project status, key decisions, and risks to stakeholders through regular virtual updates and reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT project management , with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity initiatives.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and mitigation strategies.
- Proven ability to manage remote teams and projects effectively using collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a virtual environment.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or CISM are highly advantageous.
