About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join their fully remote team. This role is integral to driving the successful implementation of strategic IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing complex IT initiatives, fostering collaboration among diverse teams, and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of key IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical leads.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges.
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to IT governance, quality standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management , with a strong focus on delivering complex technology solutions.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects in a fully remote environment.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with industry-standard project management tools and collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
