About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a specialization in construction to oversee projects in and around Southampton . This role is fundamental to ensuring the successful delivery of building and infrastructure projects, managing all aspects from initial planning and procurement through to site management and project completion. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency on-site. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee site operations, including team coordination, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and quality control standards on all construction sites.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, progress reports, and financial records.
- Resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the construction process effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- Significant experience (6+ years) as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant degree or qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
