About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead cutting-edge Automotive Technology projects in Oxford . This role is instrumental in driving the development and integration of advanced automotive systems, including electric vehicle technology and autonomous driving solutions. You will manage complex projects from concept through to production, collaborating with world-class engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of advanced automotive technology projects, including EV and ADAS systems.
- Define project scope, manage budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Oversee cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, software development, and testing.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262).
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners, including suppliers and OEMs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the automotive industry , with a focus on technology development.
- Proven experience managing complex projects related to EV powertrains, battery management systems, or autonomous driving features.
- Strong understanding of automotive product development cycles and relevant safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
