About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects in and around Derby . This hybrid role combines the flexibility of remote work with the necessity of on-site engagement to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure developments. You will be responsible for managing large-scale projects from conception through to completion, overseeing budgets, timelines, and resources, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to shape significant infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major infrastructure projects , including construction, upgrades, and maintenance initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, risk assessments, and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee project teams, including contractors and internal staff, ensuring efficient collaboration and performance.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance and success.
- Provide regular, detailed project status reports, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager with a specialization in infrastructure development or management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure planning, design, construction, and maintenance processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools relevant to infrastructure projects.
- Relevant professional qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
