About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Lead Offshore Wind Project Manager to oversee critical development and construction phases of their expanding offshore wind portfolio. This is a fully remote position, offering the unique opportunity to manage complex, large-scale projects from anywhere in the UK. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of offshore wind farms, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This role demands exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and deep expertise in the offshore wind industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of offshore wind farm development and construction projects, from initial planning to final commissioning.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring stringent adherence.
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and risk management strategies for offshore wind projects .
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and community representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record (10+ years) of successfully managing large-scale offshore energy projects , with a significant focus on offshore wind.
- In-depth knowledge of offshore wind technology, supply chains, consenting processes, and construction methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in project finance, contract management, and risk assessment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
- Experience working in a remote or geographically dispersed team environment.
