About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead their software development projects in Bradford . This role is critical for guiding the development lifecycle of innovative software products, from conception through to deployment and maintenance. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams of developers, QAs, designers, and product owners, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of software development methodologies, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for building robust, user-centric applications that drive business value and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software development projects using Agile methodologies.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful and on-time delivery.
- Lead and mentor software development teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Facilitate effective communication between development teams, product managers, stakeholders, and clients.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to ensure smooth project progression.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and release management best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in project management , with a significant focus on software development .
- Proven experience managing full software development lifecycles, including web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and other software development methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Asana.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
