About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to join their technology division in Leeds . This role is instrumental in driving the successful implementation of IT projects, from infrastructure upgrades to software deployments. You will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT systems and project management best practices, working in a hybrid model that balances office collaboration with remote flexibility, fostering innovation and efficient delivery within the tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including software development, infrastructure, and system integrations.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are produced on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project progress.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues related to IT projects, proposing effective solutions.
- Ensure project documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and readily accessible for audits and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience of 5+ years as an IT Project Manager , managing technology-focused projects.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure , software development lifecycles (SDLC), and cybersecurity principles.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Ability to manage complex technical projects and resolve challenging issues effectively.
- Relevant IT certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are advantageous.
