About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Lead Project Manager to oversee critical Infrastructure projects within their organization, operating under a hybrid model from Sheffield . This senior role involves managing large-scale infrastructure initiatives, from planning and procurement to implementation and maintenance, ensuring they align with strategic business goals and operational requirements. You will lead a team of project managers and stakeholders, driving efficiency, innovation, and timely delivery of complex projects that are vital to the company's continued success and growth in its operational base.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of major infrastructure projects .
- Develop comprehensive project strategies, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial control.
- Oversee and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with large-scale infrastructure projects, implementing robust solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management , with a strong specialization in large-scale infrastructure projects .
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, multi-faceted projects from initiation to completion.
- In-depth understanding of infrastructure planning, development, and deployment methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with contract management, procurement, and vendor relations in infrastructure projects.
- Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or RICS are highly advantageous.
