About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, and timelines.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships effectively to ensure financial and operational efficiency.
- Lead and motivate project teams, facilitating clear communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular project reviews and status meetings, providing detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders on project progress and performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and quality standards across all project phases.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in managing large-scale projects, ideally within the Aberdeen region.
- Demonstrable experience with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, JIRA).
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A relevant professional certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent, is highly desirable.
