About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead critical technology rollouts and IT infrastructure projects from their Reading hub. You will collaborate closely with IT departments, vendors, and end-users to plan and execute these complex projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, user requirements, and business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful deployment of technology-focused projects, managing scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed technical requirements, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, internal IT teams, and end-user groups throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across all project stakeholders, providing regular progress reports.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, testing, and integration of new technologies.
- Manage the transition to operational support, ensuring thorough documentation and user training are provided.
Requirements
- Substantial experience (6+ years) as a Project Manager , with a proven focus on technology rollouts , IT infrastructure, or software deployment.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, software development lifecycles, and hardware deployment.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and associated tools.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment, coordinating on-site activities with remote team members.
